Salon Policy


We accept credit, debit cards, American express, Cash and Cheque


We require a non refundable deposit for any hair extension work.

Be on Time

If you arrive over 10 minutes late for your appointment it may be necessary to shorten your service time in order to properly serve an on-time client or you may need to be rescheduled or be booked in with another stylist. It is important to us that we are not rushed on our service time so that you get the best experience. Please call if you are running late so we can arrange your appointment.

Appointment Cancellations

We value your time as much as we do ours. All cancellations should be made as early as possible to allow for another client to fill that timeslot. We request that all cancellations be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations that are made less than 48 hours prior to the appointment may be charged 50% of the scheduled services fee and you may lose your deposit.

Skin Test

We take your personal satisfaction and safety very seriously, so to help us maintain our professional service, all clients who have not enjoyed a hair colour treatment with Part One within the last 12 months are required to have a tint test 48 hours prior to their appointment.


We ask for your own safety that you are gowned prior to any service and we ask you not to touch any of the salon equipment. We do not allow any client to dry their own hair or use products, that’s our job.


  • Children under the age of 12 receiving a service must be accompanied by an adult at all times;
  • We strive in creating the best experience for our clients in a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Don’t get us wrong we love children and they are welcome for their own salon service, but the salon is not a good place for them to wait for any long length of time. We allow behaved children to wait in the waiting area but not on the shop floor. Please make all necessary child care arrangements prior to your visit. Your support and understanding of our policy regarding children and child safety is greatly appreciated;


  • If you are not happy with your hair service please tell us at the time of your appointment;
  • If you are unsatisfied with any service once you have returned home, we require that you call us within 48 hours of your appointment;
  • We do not offer refunds and will not offer alternative services until your hair is fully assessed by the salon manager;
  • If you are unhappy with your hair give us the chance to assess it. If you go to another salon for a service we will no longer be able to assess the hair;
  • Photographs are not accepted by Part One The Hair Boutique as any form of complaint.



We recommend what we believe to be best for your hair, once any product has been opened or partly used we cannot take the product back and we do not refund on any of the products we sell unless faulty.

Personal Belongings

The safety of personal belongings is the responsibility of the client.  Neither the management nor staff shall be held responsible or liable in any way whatsoever for the loss or damage to any of our clients personal belongings.
